With more than a decade of immersion in Zhineng Qigong and over 5,000 hours of personal practice, Reyna’s work is deeply informed by her own journey—one of inner inquiry, dedicated cultivation, and subtle transformation. She has trained with master teachers across the globe, spending more than 1,500 hours in intensive retreat settings. These experiences have shaped her unique ability to hold space for others as they awaken to the profound intelligence of their own life force.
Reyna was introduced to Zhineng Qigong in 2009 by Fay McGrew and studied closely with her for nine years, earning her Qigong teaching certification from the American Tai Chi and Qigong Association in 2016. During this time, she also received instruction from Jane Jin, Jianshe Liu, Hou Hee Chan, and Master Yuantong Liu.
In 2014, she was certified in Chilel Qigong by Hou Hee Chan, a pioneer of Zhineng Qigong education in the United States. Her ongoing study with Master Yuantong Liu of the Life Qi Center began in 2012 and has included retreats in China, Greece, Hawaii, and the U.S. In 2017, she became a Certified Hunyuan Qi Therapist, followed by QiCore® Improvement Certification in 2018. In 2019, she traveled to Qingcheng Mountain to deepen her understanding of Levels 1 and 2 of Zhineng Qigong. Reyna is also authorized to train teachers in QiCore® Improvement.
In 2021, Reyna became a Certified New Point of Life Coach, a program based on Master Liu’s teachings on the conscious evolution of the soul’s intention. Her work centers around awakening the consciousness—not as an abstract pursuit, but as a lived, embodied reality. She invites students to move beyond physical technique into the subtle realms of inner knowing, energetic awareness, and spiritual clarity.
As a Certified End-of-Life Doula since 2018, Reyna also brings compassionate presence to those navigating the threshold of life and death, supporting emotional, spiritual, and energetic integration at the deepest level.
Born in Tijuana, Mexico, Reyna immigrated to the United States with her parents as an infant. Raised with strong values, discipline, and cultural pride, she always felt the call of something deeper. The discovery of Qigong gave her a pathway back to her essence—an unshakable joy and inner freedom rooted in awareness.
Today, Reyna continues to share Zhineng Qigong throughout the U.S. and Europe and is expanding her offerings for Spanish-speaking communities. She believes this work is universal, transcending language, culture, and age—and she is committed to making it accessible to all who seek a more conscious, heart-centered way of living.

Reyna Lerma
Reyna Lerma is the co-owner of Present Moment Living® LLC, and QiCore® Inc. She currently hosts Zhineng Qigong classes, workshops, and retreats worldwide, often coordinated with other certified international instructors. Programs are offered both online and in person. She also continues to offer private instruction and individual Hunyuan Qi Therapy to clients who request those services.
She has studied Zhineng Qigong for 14 years and in that time, has logged over 5,000 personal practice hours and has been in retreat with Master Teachers for more than 1,500 hours.
Reyna was introduced to Zhineng Qigong in 2009 by Fay McGrew and worked closely with her for nine (9) years, becoming certified by the American Tai Chi and Qigong Association (2016) to teach Qigong. During that time, she also studied with Jane Jin, Jianshe Liu, Hou Hee Chan, and Master Yuantong Liu.
Reyna received certification to teach Chilel Qigong from Hou Hee Chan in 2014. Hou Hee Chan is the founder of Chilel Wellness in Rocklin, California, and was among the first teachers to officially introduce Zhineng Qigong to students in the United States.
Her work with Master Yuantong Liu of the Life Qi Center based in Meishan, China, began in 2012 and included attending retreats in Hawaii, China, Greece, Spain, and the US. During this time she became a Certified Hunyan Qi Therapist (2017) and received QiCore Improvement Certification (2018). She is also certified to provide Teacher Training in QiCore Improvement. In 2019, she traveled to Qingcheng Mountain to continue working with Master Liu and refine her teaching of Level 1 and Level 2 Zhineng Qigong.
In 2021, Reyna became a Certified New Point of Life Coach based on Master Liu’s personal philosophy in which he explores the principles and laws of living a conscious life to manifest the results of the soul’s intention. She became an End-of-Life Doula in 2018 certified by Deanna Cochran, Quality of Life Care, LLC, during which she was trained to care for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the terminally ill during the death process.
Born in Tijuana, Mexico, Reyna and her parents immigrated to the United States when she was three months old. Growing up, her parents instilled in her a strong work ethic, discipline, and a deep and lasting appreciation of her Mexican heritage. However, as she entered her youth, she felt a subtle but persistent emptiness. Deep within her there was a discontent that interfered with her innate joy and happiness, and something told her there was more. When she discovered Qigong, everything fell into place. This practice opened her both energetically and physically to new dimensions of herself! Nothing had the power to liberate and heal like this wisdom tradition of Chinese Medicine.
Reyna has now shared Zhineng Qigong in the US and Europe. She knows that her Spanish-speaking brothers and sisters could also benefit greatly from this work, and she plans to expand her offerings to include additional classes and programs taught in Spanish.
