May 3, 2025: Section 1, 2 & 3
June 7, 2025: Section 4, 5 & 6
July 5, 2025: Full Practice
10am – 1pm Pacific – Online via Zoom

Revitalize your spine. Reconnect with your core. Reclaim your energy.

QiCore® Improvement is a powerful yet accessible system of spinal movements developed by Master Yuantong Liu to awaken the body’s natural ability to heal. Each movement is designed to open energy pathways, strengthen the spine, and support harmony throughout the body and mind.

This three-part workshop series offers a progressive exploration of the full QiCore® Improvement practice:

  • Session 1 introduces the first three sections of the practice (Sections 1-3)

  • Session 2 introduces the final three sections (Section 4-6)

  • Session 3 brings together all six sections as one integrated form (Full Practice)

Each session is 3 hours long and builds on the depth and flow of the practice. The first two sessions are open to all levels—no previous experience is required. The third session is open only to those who have completed the first two sessions, are familiar with the full form, or have received private instruction.

Please register for each session separately.

Session 1: The Foundation – Sections 1–3

Release tension. Strengthen alignment. Activate energy flow.

This session introduces three full-body spinal movements that effectively awaken, stretch, and energize the central channel of the body. Together, these foundational sections help restore spinal alignment, improve the circulation of Qi, and lay the groundwork for deeper internal connection and physical well-being.

Section 1

SECTION 1: Rolling the Spine Forward and Backward
A powerful spinal wave that opens the small Qi circulation and nourishes the nervous system. This movement restores alignment, improves posture, and increases Qi flow through the spine and central channel.

Section 2

SECTION 2: Arching the Waist from Side to Side
A side-bending motion that strengthens the lower back and ribcage, supports spinal flexibility, and clears the Gallbladder Meridian—enhancing focus and mental clarity.

Section 3

SECTION 3: Twisting the Waist Left and Right
A twisting movement that activates the joints of the hips, knees, and ankles while decompressing the spine. Helps relieve tension and supports coordinated movement throughout the body.

Session 2: The Integration – Sections 4-6

Enhance internal flow. Nourish the organs. Restore balance.

This session explores three advanced-yet-accessible movements that further strengthen the core, integrate fluid motion, and draw Qi into the center of the body. Each section provides a complete practice for recharging your energy and finding equilibrium.

Section 4

SECTION 4: Circling the Waist & Turning the Pelvis
Two coordinated movements that unlock the lumbar spine, support kidney and digestive health, and harmonize the internal organs. These motions also stimulate meridians that regulate reproductive and hormonal balance.

Section 5

SECTION 5: Rotating the Joints and Muscles with Tai Ji Ball
A flowing, spiral-based movement that strengthens joints and soft tissues while enhancing coordination. This movement deepens internal awareness and creates a meditative “Qi dance.”

Section 6

SECTION 6: Shaking the Body to Balance Qi
A deeply balancing and energizing practice that draws Qi into the central channel, calms the heart and mind, and integrates body, breath, and awareness into stillness and strength.

Session 3: The Full Practice – Sections 1–6

Integrate, embody, and deepen.

This final session brings together all six sections of the QiCore® Improvement system into one complete and fluid practice. With the foundational movements already familiar, participants will be guided through the full form as a seamless experience—integrating physical alignment, energetic flow, and meditative awareness.

This session is for those who are familiar with form:

Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely! This program is for all experience levels and is especially suitable for people who want to learn Qigong. We will explain each practice in detail in this workshop. Questions are welcomed. You can also schedule a FREE 30-minute private session with Reyna to discuss how this program can serve you.

Yes, and you aren’t alone! This is often considered a problem by people just starting out, but even though you cannot feel the Qi, it is moving and working. You can tell by how you feel emotionally. As your Qi becomes more activated, more balanced, you will experience feelings of joy, contentment, emotional stability, and relief.

No. People of all ability levels can participate. You must have access to a computer on the Internet and be able to login to the event.

Definitely yes! The focus of every aspect of this practice is inward — into the depths of who you really are. This is even true for elements that have a physical component. Individuals with a chronic illness, spinal injury, or other conditions which limit them from standing can visualize the practice while exploring the depths of the process within. We recommend that you advise the instructors of any limitations you have so that they can provide you with helpful guidance (anonymously, of course) during the sessions. Sometimes the lack of physical distraction provides a more profound experience.

Yes. There will be a 10-minute break halfway through the workshop. For in-person participants, seasonal fruits and nuts with tea or water will be provided. You can also bring your own snack. A refrigerator is available if necessary.

Yes. Recordings will be provided for attendees. You should receive the recordings within 48 hours.

Reyna offers a FREE 30-minute one-on-one session to new students to help them decide the most suitable plan for them. Learn more about this free session and talk to Reyna directly.

Meet REyna

Reyna has studied Zhineng Qigong since 2009. She lovingly shares the wisdom of the practice with her students, readily supporting their intimate exploration of personal health and healing. Reyna firmly believes we each have a vast amount of energy readily available to us at any moment through any circumstance which is the catalyst for healing.

Born in Tijuana, Mexico, Reyna and her parents immigrated to the United States when she was three months old. Growing up, her parents instilled in her a strong work ethic, discipline, and a deep and lasting appreciation of her Mexican heritage. However, as she entered her youth, she felt a subtle but persistent emptiness. Deep within her there was a discontent that interfered with her innate joy and happiness, and something told her there was more. When she discovered Qigong, everything fell into place. This practice opened her both energetically and physically to new dimensions of herself! Nothing had the power to liberate and heal like this wisdom tradition of Chinese Medicine.

Reyna has now shared Zhineng Qigong in the US and Europe. She knows that her Spanish-speaking brothers and sisters could also benefit greatly from this work, and she plans to expand her offerings to include additional classes and programs taught in Spanish.
