How do you cope
with the world right now?
A quick Self-assessment
- I tend to be stressed during the day.
- I'm often dealing with a strong sense of overwhelm and it doesn't take much to push me over the edge.
- There don't seem to be enough hours in the day to get everything done and still have time for myself.
- I am experiencing signs that my body is not in balance - maybe headaches, insomnia, aches and pains
- It's hard to cope without complaining to my husband, co-workers, or friends.
- I don't complain, but mainly internalize my feelings of discontent with the way things are.
- The condition of the world bothers me quite a bit
If you took this brief self-assessment and it indicates you are experiencing regular stress and overwhelm, it’s a sign that these factors are impacting your health and well-being, and it is also affecting the world around you – friends, family … and even more broadly.
This ties into the idea of the butterfly effect, which suggests that even small actions can have significant and far-reaching impacts. By taking care of your own health and well-being, you are not only improving your own life but also potentially creating a positive impact on the world around you.
The butterfly effect emphasizes the potential for small, initial changes to result in significant and unpredictable outcomes in complex systems. This concept has profound implications for various scientific fields and our understanding of the interconnected nature of the world.
Imagine a person experiencing minor stress at work daily. Initially, they might just feel slightly irritated or tired. Over months, this minor stress accumulates, leading to chronic stress. The person might start sleeping poorly, which then affects their immune system, making them more susceptible to illness. Over years, the chronic stress and poor sleep contribute to the development of hypertension and depression. The butterfly effect here shows how the initial minor stress leads to significant health problems through a chain of interconnected events.
In summary, the butterfly effect in the context of stress and overwhelm demonstrates how small, seemingly minor stressors can accumulate and interact over time, leading to significant health and wellness problems. Understanding this concept emphasizes the importance of managing stress proactively and adopting a holistic approach to health and well-being.

Frequently Asked Questions
Absolutely! This program is for all experience levels. The instructors will explain each practice in detail in the workshop. Questions are welcomed. You can also schedule a FREE 30-minute private session with Reyna to discuss how this program can serve you.
Yes, and you aren’t alone! One reason we are holding this event is to teach you how to activate and feel your own Qi. This is often considered a problem by people just starting out, but even though you cannot feel the Qi, it is moving and working. You can tell by how you feel emotionally. As your Qi becomes more activated, more balanced, you will experience feelings of joy, contentment, emotional stability, and relief.
No. People of all ability levels can participate. You must have access to a computer on the Internet and be able to login to the event.
Definitely yes! The focus of every aspect of this practice is inward — into the depths of who you really are. This is even true for elements that have a physical component. Individuals with a disability like chronic illness, spinal injury, or other conditions which limit them from standing can visualize the practice while exploring the depths of the process within. We recommend that you advise the instructors of any limitations you have so that they can provide you with helpful guidance (anonymously, of course) during the sessions. Sometimes the lack of physical distraction provides a more profound experience.
Reyna offers a FREE 30-minute one-on-one session to new students to help them decide the most suitable plan for them. Learn more about this free session and talk to Reyna directly.

Meet REyna

Reyna has studied Zhineng Qigong since 2009. She lovingly shares the wisdom of the practice with her students, readily supporting their intimate exploration of personal health and healing. Reyna firmly believes we each have a vast amount of energy readily available to us at any moment through any circumstance which is the catalyst for healing.
Born in Tijuana, Mexico, Reyna and her parents immigrated to the United States when she was three months old. Growing up, her parents instilled in her a strong work ethic, discipline, and a deep and lasting appreciation of her Mexican heritage. However, as she entered her youth, she felt a subtle but persistent emptiness. Deep within her there was a discontent that interfered with her innate joy and happiness, and something told her there was more. When she discovered Qigong, everything fell into place. This practice opened her both energetically and physically to new dimensions of herself! Nothing had the power to liberate and heal like this wisdom tradition of Chinese Medicine.
Reyna has now shared Zhineng Qigong in the US and Europe. She knows that her Spanish-speaking brothers and sisters could also benefit greatly from this work, and she plans to expand her offerings to include additional classes and programs taught in Spanish.
